Amnesty International UK Section Charitable Trust – Monthly Extra Draw: General Rules

  1. The Amnesty International UK Section Charitable Trust (Amnesty International UK) Monthly Extra Draw is not a lottery. It is a prize promotion.
  2. To be eligible, individuals must have signed up for the Amnesty International UK Lottery between the 1st of July 2025 until the 31st of December 2025.
  3. Each eligible new member will have their name entered once into the draw for the month in which they joined.
    • For example: If you join in May 2025, your name will be entered into the June draw (held on the first Friday of the month).
    • If your Amnesty International Weekly Lottery membership have insufficient funds, or is cancelled, lapses, or becomes inactive before the draw date, you will not qualify.
  4. Only one entry per person is allowed, and each eligible individual will be automatically entered into only one draw – the month following their signing up for the Amnesty International UK Lottery in 2025.
  5. The prize each month is a £20 John Lewis voucher. Any changes to the prize will be communicated in advance after the previous month’s winner has been announced.
  6. Winners may be invited to participate in promotional or public relations activity for Amnesty International UK Section Charitable Trust.
  7. The draw will be held on the first Friday of each month.
  8. Winners will be contacted via email or post, depending on their communication preferences.
  9. This prize promotion is not regulated by the Gambling Commission. While the Commission offers guidance, it is not responsible for oversight as this is not classified as a lottery.
  10. This prize promotion offer ends on 31 December 2025. No further entries will be accepted after this date.
  11. Eligible individuals may choose to opt out of receiving the £20 John Lewis voucher by notifying us via email at sct@amnesty.org.uk prior to the draw date.
