YOU CAN WIN FOR HUMAN RIGHTS
Play our Superdraw and help support the fight against human rights violations worldwide. We know that when we stand together and campaign, we can win for people like Zalissan.
“Knowing my rights saved me from forced marriage.”
At 14, Zalissan Olabaloum’s dad was preparing her wedding. But her school was in a community north of Burkina Faso where Amnesty International was delivering training on early and forced marriages (EFM). As a result, Zalissan knew her rights and was able to stand up to her father.
Since 2018, EFM has been deemed illegal in Burkina Faso, following Amnesty International’s lobbying of government to change the law.
I WON THE SUPERDRAW
AND HELPED AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL CREATE A WORLD WHERE EVERY DAY HUMANITY WINS.
Simon Tompsett was thrilled when he won £10,000 in the Amnesty Superdraw.
“It was such a wonderful surprise! With the winnings I took my partner on a much-needed holiday, as she had been looking after her father for many months. We went on the Orient Express – something we had always wanted to do.
I have supported Amnesty International for nearly 20 years. I believe lotteries are a great way for organisations like Amnesty to raise funds and bring a little excitement. I was very fortunate to win and I hope other supporters are as lucky. Good luck to everyone playing this year!”
